BACKGROUND
Responsible for developing, implementing, updating and managing the service and security technologies required to support the Global IUCN Secretariat including the IUCN Headquarters, out-posted, regional, country offices and special events including Congresses. Responsible for planning, acquisition, implementation, maintenance and administration globally of the Service and Security Management processes and platforms in alignment with the IUCN Policies.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Information Management Services

-Develop and contribute to the development of long-term strategies, processes and policies of the IS Service and Security Management of the Union, software acquisition and application enhancement, in support of programme implementation for HQ and regional operations, Commissions and special events.

-Plan, manage and provide client support services related to IS Service and Security Management environment for IUCN HQ and remote users.

-Evaluate needs and service and security efficiencies and effectiveness as part of on-going IT management. Interface with end-users to develop highly usable solutions in order that IUCN can benefit from the productivity gains offered by technology.

System Administration

-Plan, organize and manage the IS Service and Security Management systems for the global secretariat.

-Plan, design, set up and maintain the IS Service and Security Management systems toolset in liaison with the various solution vendors.

-Plan, set up and maintain systems and services and provide user support and training.

-Review and test new systems, tools and services for integration in the IS Service and Security Management systems operations.

-Ensure compliance of the IS Service and Security Management systems, ensure potential security threats can be identified and stopped.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be eligible to work in Switzerland (L, B, C permit)

• University degree or equivalent in Computer field;

• 8 years experience in Management of Information Systems platforms;

• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM deployment in an international environment;

• Experience of managing various Security and Identity Management platforms (Microsoft Active Directory, McAfee Anti-virus, Symantec toolset, etc…);

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills;

• Strong problem analysis and solving skills;

• Experience in managing multiple parties across multiple IT disciplines including Project Managers and third party vendors;

• Fluent in English. French, Spanish or another language a plus.
