PROJECT MANAGEMENT
1. Assist in successfully implementing all project activities under the of the project in accordance to the project agreement between the donor and following instruction of the project manager;
2. Conduct surveys to collect spatial and temporal GIS-based data from the field for the project
3. Analyze data collected from the field and produce GIS based maps for the project
4. Support the project manager, team, and consultants in writing the Red List books, IAS of plants Management Strategy, reports and articles for regarding the project by providing GIS based data and maps;
5. Support the project team, consultants and stakeholder in conducting field work and data collection;
6. Provide support in organizing of workshops, training programmes and seminar regarding Invasive and Alien Species process for volunteers, consultants and other stakeholder,
7. Assist to ensure that all project reports and all other committed deliverables are produced, submitted and accepted by the donor in a timely manner as per the Agreement;
8. Undertake any other tasks that may be assigned by the Country Representative, the Programme Coordinator of IUCN Bangladesh and project manager, from time to time.
• Advanced degree in Botany/Zoology/Forestry/ Oceanography/Environmental Science. A Bachelor’s degree with an additional year of relevant experience and professional training and/or certifications may be accepted in lieu of the Advanced degree requirement. • 1 year working experience relevant to the terms of reference. Experience in the Red List process will be preferred. • Experience in in programme or project administration, technical cooperation, financial management and budgeting or other administrative areas are essential; • Excellent presentation, writing and spoken communication skills in English are essential. • International experience will be an added advantage. • Fluency in written and spoken English, computer literacy essential. |
