BACKGROUND
Islamabad Programme Office is the managing quarter for the implementation of different projects and also houses part of secretariat staff mainly responsible for liaison with government and donors apart from ensuring presence in the Federal Capital.
JOB DESCRIPTION
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible to perform driving related assignments for the staff and visitors. Also being responsible for the upkeep of the vehicle/s assigned.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Perform driving related assignments for the staff and visitors as assigned by the Admin Officer-IPO;
2. Maintenance of vehicles in perfect running condition which includes timely servicing, oil changing, filter replacement, tuning, unadulterated petrol filling, washing of vehicle and informing if there are any major repairs to be done either electrical or mechanical;
3. Ensure all logbooks for all the vehicles are being maintained noting down mileage of each day, and checking with its help the consumption of fuel and routine service checkups, after prescribed mileage. This book will also include details of the recipient of services;
4. Maintaining all documents related to vehicle use e.g. driving license, registration and insurance etc. are in order and renewed by Admin Officer-IPO;
5. Assist in the recruitment of drivers in terms of testing their driving and other skills;
6. Keep the Admin Officer-IPO informed on all matters related to the driving pool, thus ensuring a smooth-running operation;
7. Any other tasks that may assigned from time to time by the Supervisor(s).
