BACKGROUND
The position of Web Application Developer/ERP Developer plays a critical role in the future development of the ERP project in IUCN.

The core modules of the ERP system went live at IUCN’s Headquarters in July 2011 and deployment to other IUCN locations commenced in the last quarter of 2012.

The ERP system in IUCN is based on the following
- Serenic Navigator (Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2)
- Serenic Award Vision (Grants Management system, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2)
- Serenic ERP Administration Portals (Serenic .NET web application, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 backend)
- Programme & Project Planning System (under development, fully custom .NET web application, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 backend)

This position can be based in one of the following locations:
- Belgrade, Serbia
- Bangkok, Thailand
- New Delhi, India
- Colombo, Sri Lanka

IUCN will therefore only accept applications from individuals who are currently based in one of the above locations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Redesign the .NET web based project portfolio management application that integrates with established MS NAV Dynamics 2009 ERP system

o Implement and integrate reporting and business intelligence functionality
o Implement and integrate workflow management
o Improve the user interface
o Design and integrate project document repository functionality

• Review and where appropriate redesign ERP web services for integration with other systems (CRM, HRMS, web based portals)

• Review, design and maintain various ERP customizations

• Review, design and maintain various data integration workflows using point to point and data integration services

• Integrate web based Business Intelligence solution into web based portal
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years working on projects similar to job description

• Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.

• Experience in workflow processing implementations

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English language.

• Highly motivated, goal oriented.

• Autonomous in delivery, yet a strong team player.

• Ability to work in a collaborative manner with users.

• Windows 2008 Server with MS.NET Framework (2.0 and 4.0)

• Relational database design, inlcuding MS SQL Server 2008 and SSRS

• Data integration (SSIS), including integration experience with web applications and ERP systems (e.g. data entry portals and or information portals)

• Understanding of Business Intelligence integration concepts (e.g. integrating ERP BI reports with information portals)

• ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML.NET, HTML, AJAX, SOAP and REST web services

• ERD, class and workflow diagrams (UML)

• MS II 7

• Experienced user of MS Office tools (Excel, Projects, Visio)

• MS NAV Dynamics 2009 as ERP experience would be an advantage

• Knwoledge of Spanish and/or French would be an advantage
